Encryption
Data at rest is encrypted before being written to disk. All traffic between AWS regions and data centres is transparently encrypted using TLS. Envelope encryption keeps a unique data key per record, secured by a master key, for efficient and secure key management.

User Authentication
Quantal uses two-factor authentication (2FA) to secure all Manager and Supervisor accounts. Users must provide two distinct forms of identification to access an account, and the Manager Portal can review, change or delete all Supervisor accounts.

Audit Trails
All stocktake data changes are logged, including edits and deletes. Supervisors cannot change data without generating an audit trail, giving you complete visibility and accountability across every count.

Data Ownership
Your stocktake data belongs to you. We keep it for up to three months by default — if you'd like it stored for longer, let us know and we can arrange a long-term data storage service.
